Salmon Evolution appoints executive to focus on Dongwon land-based salmon operation
He is expected to join the Salmon Evolution team during the third quarter of 2021. Salmon Evolution's first production facility is under construction at Indre Haroy, located on the Norwegian west coast, with the entire project designed for an annual capacity of approximately 31,500 metric tons. The company has also entered into a joint venture with Dongwon Industries where the parties will develop, construct and operate a land-based salmon farming facility in South Korea under the name K Smart Farming, with an annual production capacity of 16,800 metric tons.
