Nanote P8 coming to Japan: 7-inch mini laptop for US$300 Image via Donki.com The Nanote P8 is a tiny 7-inch mini-laptop coming to Japan. While the machine uses older hardware, it s relatively cheap (compared to other mini laptops) at only US$300. Internet of Things (IoT), iOS, Wearable, Ticker Tiny laptops are becoming quite popular and continue to carve a niche in the PC market. Fans of the tiny form factor will likely have their eyes on the Nanote P8, a 7-inch Japan-exclusive mini-laptop that will soon retail for the equivalent of about US$300. The Nanote P8 is an update to last year’s Nanote. While the P8 is about $115 more expensive than last year’s model, it packs a quad-core Intel Pentium N4200, Intel HD Graphics 505, 8 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of eMMC storage. These specs seem outdated at first, but considering the first Nanote’s Intel Atom x5-Z8350 and 4 GB of RAM, the P8 is a decent upgrade. ....
