Vaccination at QNCC only for specific groups: Official

Doha: A senior health official has reiterated that COVID-19 vaccination is available at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) by appointment only and for specific groups meeting the priority criteria.
The Medical Director of Hamad General Hospital Dr. Yousef Al Maslamani said that the present stage targets the teaching and administrative staff in schools and emphasised that people should avoid going to the QNCC vaccination centre without an invitation.
“Attending the centre at QNCC is by invitation only. Invitations are sent in a gradual and phased manner to ensure the safety of society and a smooth and effective vaccination process. The targeted groups will receive an SMS invitation to come to the vaccination centre on the dates specified,” he told ....

Doha: Work continues at a good pace at Qatar National Convention Center, the headquarters for vaccination against the COVID-19 virus, as part of Qatar s expansion of the national programme for vaccination against the virus.
The center is under the supervision and management of the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health, Hamad Medical Corporation, volunteers from the Qatar Red Crescent Society and the administration of Qatar National Convention Center.
The first vaccination phase in the new headquarters, which began last Thursday, focused on vaccinating teachers and school personnel, in addition to other essential workers and community members who meet the eligibility criteria. ....
