SFPUL: Medieval Manuscripts Showcase with Will Noel

Please join the Student Friends of the PUL for its second event of the semester, a showcase of medieval manuscripts in PUL Special Collections with Will Noel, Associate University Librarian for Rare Books and Special Collections. This event will feature holdings in the Manuscripts Division, which contains over 14,000 linear square feet of materials. There are over 100 medieval and Renaissance manuscripts in the Scheide Library and hundreds more in other collections.
Fifteen (15) spots are available for this event to members of the Student Friends only; a waitlist will be enabled. The showcase will be followed by lunch in town from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., RSVPs to which will be handled separately. Attendance at the lunch is optional.

Library Resources for Vocalists

Join the Mendel Music Library staff for a Library Info Session for vocal musicians. Sara Hagenbuch, Coordinator for Public Services and Outreach (also a professional singer), and Darwin Scott, Music Librarian, will hold two in-person sessions and one zoom session.
Wednesday 3/16: 3pm-4pm (Cone Seminar Room, 226 Woolworth Center, inside Mendel Music Library)
Thursday 3/17: 1pm-2pm (virtual)
Friday 3/18: 2pm-3pm (Cone Seminar Room, 226 Woolworth Center, inside Mendel Music Library)
We’ll cover how to use the library catalog to find scores and recordings of vocal works, how to pick the most useful editions of scores, where vocal music is located in Mendel, and much more! This training is open to all current Princeton University students, staff, and faculty.
Masks are required for this event.
