NCDOT closes roads for railroad crossing replacements
BRUNSWICK COUNTY — A section of Buckeye Road at Rachel Wynd in Leland, N.C., will close Mar. 1-2, as the N.C. Department of Transportation replaces the railroad crossing. A detour will send travelers to Old Lanvale and Lanvale roads, U.S. 17, Carol Lynn Drive and Rachel Wynd. Thereafter, from Mar. 24 through Apr. 21, a section of East Boiling Springs Road at the railroad crossing, near Fifty Lakes Drive, also will close to traffic.
