BRAZEN thieves stole a motorbike worth thousands of pounds off a drive in Old Walcot just two days after the owner had bought it. Liam O’Halloran only passed his test in October 2020 and was saving up to buy a bike. He has been furloughed from his job as a hairdresser but started working as a delivery driver in January to afford it. He thought his new Honda CBR 600 would be safe locked under a cover, parked behind a vehicle on his drive – but woke up to find the bike had been stolen in the early hours of the morning.
THREE friends all diagnosed with leukaemia have set up a support group for those battling the disease. Kim Hannah, Ben Peters and Sarah Burkitt met because of cancer.
