Kishtwar April 23 (Scoop News)- As part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav celebration, a seminar and poster making competition on Juvenile Delinquency was organized at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kishtwar, here today.
The programme was conducted on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Ashok Sharma and under the guidance of District Child Protection Officer Tariq Parveaz Qazi.
During the deliberations made in the programme, the thrust was laid on social and psychological aspects of juvenile delinquency.
Basharat Nazir (Legal cum Probationary Officer) ICPS, DCPU Kishtwar was the resource person of the seminar. She commenced the deliberations on the theme and highlighted the major causes of juvenile delinquency, focusing on its behavioural and emotional components.
