Daily Post Nigeria Published Political aides who served during the first term administration of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu were on Wednesday sacked by the governor. The aides whose appointments were terminated included Personal Assistants, Special Assistants and Senior Special Assistants to the governor. In a statement issued and signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Olabode Richard Olatunde, new appointments were also approved with some among those who were sacked reappointed. While stating that the sack of the affected political appointees takes immediate effect, Akeredolu lauded them for their selfless service during his first term. With the governor retaining most of his media aides, the appointment of Bola Alabi who served as the Deputy Chief Protocol in the first term of the governor was approved as the new Chief of Protocol while Mrs. Olufunke Bisi Aruna was appointed as the Deputy Chief of Protocol. ....
