A water main break on Colonial Boulevard between Colonial Country Club Boulevard and Treeline Avenue has caused the City of Fort Myers to expand its boil-water notice.
A precautionary boil water notice was issued Sunday for an area of Fort Myers near I-75 and will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
