The Indian Army is providing logistic support to the Indian Air Force (IAF) for its upcoming Exercise Gagan Shakti 2024, demonstrating synergy between the armed forces. The 10-day exercise will run from April 1-10, with activities across the country, including engagements at the Pokhran Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan. The Indian Army has assisted in moving approximately 10,000 IAF personnel and ammunition, implementing the Operational Rail Mobilisation Plan (ORMP) with 12 passenger trains and two ammunition trains.
