ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is likely to lodge a First Information Report (FIR) against 10 Capital Development Authority (CDA) officials in a case related to alleged fraudulent allotment of seven residential plots, as the agency has sought details about the officials.
Sources said FIA, which has almost completed its probe, through an official letter dated Feb 15 sought the record of the 10 officials.
The officials are likely to be booked anytime soon as the FIA legal wing has already recommended for it.
Earlier, the FIA probed the alleged bogus allotment of six plots in I-11 and one in I-12.
The scam surfaced in August last year when the security directorate of the CDA confiscated files of the seven plots minutes before issuance of their allotment letters from the One-Window Operation (OWO) Centre of the civic agency. ....
