To kick off the annual Great Falls Public Schools Student Art Exhibition, the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art recognized the recipient of this year s Zach Culliton Merit of Distinction. 
Cora Patterson, who is in 11th grade at CMR High School and attending school remotely, is this year s recipient, recognized for her positive attitude as she overcomes challenges. 
She, from day one, had demonstrated herself as a thinker, inquisitive, shows up every week for office hours and has a dialogue, said Cortni Harant, an art teacher at Great Falls High School who nominated Patterson for the award. It wasn t till later that she had an opportunity to share with me some of the things that she s had to deal with.   ....
