Kenya Temporarily Bans Avocado Export
Avocado exports from Kenya for the 2023/2024 fiscal year are set to be suspended starting from Friday November 3, 2023.The directive comes after Kenya's Agriculture and Food Authority (AFA) ordered a halt on avocado shipments in a bid to ensure that quality produce is marketed locally and internationally.
