Staff reports Angela Schneider, who writes a monthly column about hiking with dogs for The Spokesman-Review, is a finalist in four categories of the national Dog Writers Association of America writing competition. Her work goes up against other writers and photographers in four categories: Newspaper Article - Art or Any Topic; Online Article or Blog - Any Topic; Single Photo’ and Photo Series.
