Ajax and PSV share the points in a 1-1 draw
Ajax and PSV played out a 1-1 draw on Saturday in the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam. Steven Berghuis gave the home side the lead before Luuk de Jong equalized. Ajax manager John van ’t Schip gave Jordan Henderson his first start. Josip Sutalo passed a fitness test to start the match. The away side started the game with Ismael Saibari. The midfielder only returned from the Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday after getting knocked out by Morocco. A reason for the start was that midfielders Joey Veerman and Malik Tillman were injured.
