Maysville native Ricky Meadows life has always been about teamwork, dating from his days as a three-sport athlete in Jones and Onslow counties to his current job as Dean of Career Programs at Craven Community College. 
It is not surprising that his reaction to being named the 2021 Community Fabric Leadership in Educator Award winner, was praise for the college and the New Bern community as a whole. 
I m humbled to win the award, it s a great award, but it s a team award, not only for Career Programs and for Craven Community College, said Meadows. 
Meadows joins Individual Leadership winner Carol J. Mattocks and Business Leadership winner Chick-fil-A in the April 20 ceremonies, sponsored by Craven Community College Foundation.  ....
