“We inspected the stretch and have decided to write to Bengaluru City Police about the issue. A portion of the road is being used by auto and cab drivers to park and urinate in the open. We are requesting the enforcement department to penalise these people and stop such activities,” said a BSCL official.
Residents have complained that some areas inside the lake boundary are being used for open urination. The stench is unbearable, leading to some walkers abandoning the lake for morning and evening walks.
