The workers of Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited (NDPHC) have written a protest letter, asking Vice President Kashim Shettima to intervene in the alleged denial of their basic rights and entitlements. This is contained in an open letter addressed to the Vice President, lamenting that they had been subjected to agony, pain and inhuman treatment. The aggrieved workers said they had been under the third-party system for more than 10 years, adding that it does not give priority to the payment of salaries.
