PETALING JAYA: The Federal Government’s allocations for flood management in affected states depend on the severity and their actual needs, says National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) director-general Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Army, as the lead agency of Ops Murni, has received a contribution of RM100,000 from the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) to procure support equipment for use during the operation and the post-flood phase.
KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 18,616 Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) officers and rank and file have been put on standby through Ops Murni to help tackle floods, if necessary.
