After the modules are separated, the lander is expected to undergo a 'deboost'
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on August 14 commenced orbit circularisation phase of the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft even closer to the Moon's surface with another orbit reduction manoeuvre on August 14. The lander is scheduled to make a soft landing on August 23. The Chandrayaan-3 mission is intended to demonstrate India's capability to safely land and rove on the Moon's surface, and to conduct scientific experiments.
