Police rearrest three more fleeing Owerri inmates
Punch Newspapers Sections Published 20 May 2021 THE police in Imo State on Wednesday said it had rearrested three more fleeing inmates of Owerri Correctional Centre. The police spokesperson in the state, Bala Elkana, told newsmen that two of the three rearrested inmates were facing murder charges, while the other was charged with kidnapping and armed robbery as of the time they fled from the Owerri correctional centre on April 5, following a jailbreak.
