The Milwaukee Public Museum pulled back the curtain on "Time Travel," providing the general public with a few glimpses of exhibits destined for the new museum.
The Milwaukee Public Museum and exhibit design partner Thinc Design will unveil designs for the Future Museum’s galleries between March 7 and May 23, according to a Wednesday announcement.
In late September, a team of 14 architects and designers took a seven-day journey across Wisconsin.
The statement says that the proposed design and layout "is sympathetic to and would enhance the character and appearance" of the surrounding area. It adds: "The site is located within easy walking and cycling distance of schools, shops, services, amenities and public transport of the town and, as such, is considered to be a sustainable location well-suited to housing development of the scale proposed.
