In a statement, PRO-13 Director, Brig. Gen. Romeo Caramat Jr., identified the arrested suspect as Roel Villatora Mangadlao, alias Ruel, 48, a member of the NPA Guerrilla Front 19 (GF-19), North Eastern Mindanao Regional Committee (NEMRC). "Mangadlao was arrested by the joint personnel of Lianga police station and 1303rd Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion - 13 on Monday in Purok 6, Barangay Diatagon, Lianga, Surigao del Sur," Caramat said.
