Ouk Rabun, Minister of Rural Development, Chairman of Kampong Chhnang Provincial Government Working Group presided over the ground-breaking ceremony for a 12-km, 330-meter-long DBST two-lane road connecting Meanchey to Kang Meas Knong village, Kork Banteay commune, Rolea Bier district, Kampong Chhnang province, on the morning of June 7.
The Ministry of Rural Development formally declared Kampong Speu to be the fourth Cambodian province after Svay Rieng, Prey Veng and Kandal to achieve "Open Defecation Free" or ODF status, the culmination of 10 years of government efforts.
