The government has launched a consultation on the role of incentive schemes in general practice in England, which could see the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) altered or even scrapped in the future.1 The consultation, which will run until 7 March 2024, will seek feedback on the two main schemes in England—QOF and the Investment and Impact Fund (IIF)—and asks whether these schemes should “form part of the income for general practice.” It will also …
