A minor girl was stabbed and bludgeoned to death allegedly by her boyfriend after a fight on Sunday, the whole act was caught on CCTV which showed it happened on the street while people were walking by.
In all, the girl, Sakshi, was found to have 34 wound marks on her body and her skull was ruptured. The final autopsy report is awaited, the police said.
According to the police, accused Sahil Khan accosted the minor and stabbed her at least 20 times and then hit her with a concrete slab lying nearby until she died. The murder, which took place Sunday night, was caught by CCTV cameras.
In an order issued by Additional DCP (Outer North) Rajeev Kumar Ambasta, it has been learnt that khap panchayats of various states, supporting wrestlers protesting at Jantar Mantar, have announced a call for a mahila maha panchayat at the new Parliament house building Sunday.
