So they re feeling a lot of pressure. and then they look out into the world and their parents are anxious and trying to figure out, what i am a supposed to do? that is on top of the fact, being a teenager, your body is changing. you re turning into something you weren t before. a lot of reasons to have normal anxiety. it just seems to be piling on and on and on. and we re seeing it at every level of care. people coming in for outpatient, people coming in with the need for residential. finding people who are specialized to treat anxiety and related disorders to meet the demand. i m glad people are seeking the help, right? hopefully the stigma is going away. i ve been very open about my anxiety battles on this show. i think it is really important to reduce that stigma. what should parents look for though to understand, you know, what their child needs. if they re having anxiety, it is beyond the normal day to day anxiety. what exactly should they be screened for? i think there are se ....
