DOUBLE SHOOTING: Police identify woman killed, man injured in northeast Oklahoma City shooting

Updated: 9:32 AM CST Jan 28, 2021 KOCO Staff Police have identified the victims in a double shooting that happened Wednesday night in northeast Oklahoma City.According to police, officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 9:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of Overbrook Drive, near Northeast 16th Street and Bryant Avenue. Officers arrived and found two shooting victims inside a home. One victim, later identified as 26-year-old Aunsheree Myrick, was pronounced dead at the scene.The other victim, identified as 27-year-old Cameron Watkins, was taken to an area hospital ...

1 Dead, 1 Injured In NE OKC Double Shooting

Oklahoma City police said one victim has died in a double shooting Wednesday night. Officers responded just before 10 p.m. to the 3200 block of Overbrook Drive near Northeast 16th Street and North Bryant Avenue where they said two victims were found. According to police, the first victim was found dead inside of the home with multiple gunshot wounds. Police found the second victim was shot in the head and was found outside of the home. That victim was taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition. Details as to what led up to the shooting have not yet been released.

Canfield gets grants for stormwater project | News, Sports, Jobs

CANFIELD — An infrastructure project in Canfield that would improve stormwater flow has been fully funded by grant work, saving residents money. City officials learned in mid-summer that Canfield received funding through the Ohio Emergency Management Agency, under a hazard mitigation grant program through the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Cost for the Sawmill Creek Drainage Improvement project is $1.2 million, said city Manager Wade Calhoun, which is now completely covered by federal, state and local grant dollars.
