Ranchi: The roads of the capital, battered by heavy and continuous rain, are giving commuters a harrowing time who also have to negotiate the overflow.

KC Das, a security guard at the apartment, said, “The drainage gets full and the water starts to overflow onto the roads. With the metro construction happening, the road is too narrow for vehicles to pass from both sides. The only solution to this is either the traffic has to be allowed only on one way, or the drainage has to be cleared for the passage of water.” ​

Heavy overnight rains once again wrecked havoc in parts of Hyderabad and outskirts with roads and low-lying areas getting inundated.
