Imo House of Assembly has enacted a law to regulate gaming and betting, including pool, lotteries, casino and related activities in the state. The chamber also repealed the existing Law No. 44 of 2019, which according to the bill sponsor and Deputy Majority Leader, Emeka Nduka, did not capture some of the important revenue sources in the industry.
