Delhi sets up Oxygen Concentrator Banks, introduces door delivery service for those in home isolation: Kejriwal May 15, 2021 × There has been a drop in fresh Covid cases with Delhi reporting 6,500 infections in the last 24 hours Oxygen concentrator banks have been set up in each district of the national capital to ensure timely access of medical oxygen to Covid-19 patients, Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister said on Saturday. Each such bank will have 200 oxygen concentrators and they will be home delivered in two hours for those in home isolation. The Delhi chief minister said that the oxygen concentrator banks have been started for Covid-19 patients who need urgent and timely supply of medical oxygen for effective treatment. Arvind Kejriwal said 200 oxygen concentrator banks will be set up in every district in Delhi. Moreover, the Delhi government will also provide doorstep delivery of oxygen concentrators for Covid-19 patients who are recovering in home isolation. Arvind Kejriwal added that those who have been discharged from hospitals after recovering from Covid-19 will also be provided oxygen concentrators on recommendation by doctors. ....

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on May 15 announced the setting up of Oxygen Concentrator Banks across the city to aid patients in home isolation as well as for recovery after being discharged from the hospital. He also said that both the COVID-19 cases as well as the positivity rate were declining steadily across the city, but reiterated that citizens should not let their guard down. “Around 6,000 COVID cases have emerged in the last 24 hours and the positivity rate has gone down to 11%, which is a sign that things are constantly improving,” Mr. Kejriwal said in a video message. ....
