17 corps members admitted with COVID-19 symptoms in Edo Published The corps members were taken to Stella Obasanjo Hospital on Sapele Road, Benin, Edo State for treatment. Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Edo Government-owned hospital, Dr. Osagie Ebomwonyi, confirming this during an inspection of isolation center with Governor Godwin Obaseki, said that even though the cases were unvaccinated, they were analyzing to find out if there was Delta variant in the state. Also the Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Personal Assistant, Mr. Ozeto Waheed, in the State, said the 17 Corps members mobilised to serve in the state have not been confirmed to be carrying COVID-19 Delta variant. ....
