Looking for an opportunity to exploit the oil and other minerals that might be in the region. what's happening, and this is what i find very, very disconcerten. i am the ranking member of the maritime and coast -- and we are very concerned that the u.s. does not have the assets to fully pa trole the arctic ocean. one heavy icebreaking is deployed in the ant arctic. we have no other heavy icebreak icebreaker. we are simply short of ice breaking ships in the arctic. the u.s. navy can't go there in the late -- early spring and late summer as the ice forms. so china is there with a heavy icebreake...
