Disney+Hotstar's latest offering Dil Bekaraar is finally out. Starring Sahher Bambba, Akshay Oberoi, Padmini Kolhapure, Poonam Dhillon, Raj Babbar and others, the show is set in the 80s when times were simpler.
The limited series, adapted from Anuja Chauhan’s ‘Those Pricey Thakur Girls’, is led by Sahher Bambba and Akshay Oberoi.
Raj Babbar has been in showbiz for more than four decades and isn’t tired of it. After his Bollywood debut in 1978 with Kissa Kursi Ka, he acted in movies like Prem Geet, Aaj Ki Awaaz, Sansar and Agar Tum Na Hote. While the audience continued to see him on the big screen, he also ventured into politics in 1989 by joining the Janata Dal.
From its dreamy theme song to its 2D-style animation, period soundtrack and of course, its late-80s / early-90s nostalgia, 'Dil Bekaraar', is charming.
