Flagler County schedules COVID vaccine clinics at restaurants, church

Here s where you can get vaccinated this week in Flagler County

Communications Manager, DOH The Flagler County Health Department continues to modify its near-term vaccination efforts to reach working residents and local businesses. Last week, the health department shared plans to relocate first dose appointments from the Flagler County Fairgrounds to other locations throughout the county. Second dose appointments on Monday and Tuesday mornings will continue at the fairgrounds for a few more weeks. Those anticipating their second dose should confirm the date, time and location on the back of their vaccination card. Anyone with questions should contact the call center (weekdays) at 386-437-7350 ext. 0. Planned first dose vaccination activities for the week of April 24 to May 1 follow:

Flagler Health Department and Grace Community Pharmacy Team Up in More Personal-Level Vaccine Push

(© FlaglerLive) Organized shelves, soft lighting, plant life, and a homey atmosphere are some of the few elements that make Grace Community Pharmacy distinctive, as is this: While Publix, Winn-Dixie, CVS, Walgreens and Walmart have been vaccinating for months, Grace was chosen by the Flagler County Health Department to be the first community pharmacy vaccination site. It launched its Covid-19 vaccination campaign in March.  Having an “all hands on deck” operation, as Bob Snyder, director of the Flagler County Health Department, describes it, he jumped at the opportunity when owner and pharmacist Grace Benet contacted the department. She already had a waiting list of people wanting to receive the vaccine. 

Flagler Health Department scales back free COVID testing

Communications Manager & Public Information Officer; Florida Department of Health in Flagler The Florida Department of Health in Flagler County (DOH-Flagler) has confirmed its weekday COVID-19 testing schedule for the second week of March. Free drive through COVID-19 testing will be offered 1-3 p.m. Tuesday and Friday, across from 120 Airport Road. No appointments are necessary, and test results are available in 2-3 days. DOH-Flagler is likely to reduce the amount of COVID-19 testing it offers when multiple vaccination events are scheduled during that week.  Other locations in Flagler County providing COVID-19 testing include two Mediquick locations, CentraCare, Palm Harbor Family Practice and CVS Pharmacies. Please confirm with each site in advance as some require appointments.
