'Macho' police mascot gives away chocolates, face masks, face shields on Valentine's Day in Pasig City – Manila Bulletin

“Patrolman PaMaMariSan (Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, San Juan)” and policemen started the distribution of their Valentine’s gifts to civilians in front of Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral.
Civilians also took “selfies” with the policemen and the “macho” EPD mascot after receiving their gifts.
The gift-giving on Valentine’s Day was ordered by EPD director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay.
According to him, this was done to remind the public to love and help one another, especially now that there is a pandemic.
The flyers handed out by the police were containing information about the minimum health protocols the public needs to observe to defeat COVID-19.
