This could probably go to director hicks. Yes, commissioner chan, the occ does not investigate unless the occ receives a civilian complaint of misconduct. So, while we roll out to all officerinvolved shootings, we dont necessarily investigate all officer involved shootings. It would be only if a civilian files a complaint. ....

So, that become a compelled statement which is retained in the administrative investigation. It cant go to the criminal investigation. It cant be used their statement to the administrative investigator to generalize, cant be [speaker not understood] you understand, but cant be used to, you know, against the officer in a criminal investigation related to that specific incident except as a matter of impeachment or allowed by a judge.
