Cops: Cops return portion of bribe to bootlegger | Surat News
Anti-corruption sleuths caught two cops in Valsad for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 89,000 from a bootlegger. The accused cops had taken Rs 1 lakh but returned Rs 11,000 after he pleaded for some money to spend. Head constable Paresh Ram and constable Muru Gadhvi from Umargam police station were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau team led by police inspector B D Rathwa.
