Belmont residents found retail business to sell olive oil from Greece
Wicked Local Helen Kandaras and Chris Dimas of Belmont have found a way to share a special product from their home country of Greece with the general public. Two and a half years ago, they founded Parnon Estates, an online retail business which sells organic olive oil, balsamic vinegar and wildflower and thyme honey. Their warehouse is in Belmont. The olive oil is made from olives from trees in Sparta, Dimas’s hometown. The name of the business comes from the expression, “Par to none flavor,” according to Kandaras who is from Kalamata.
