A solar eclipse is coming soon to a sky near you. On April 8 near noon, the sky will get darker as the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun. In Kay county approximately 80-90% of the Sun will be blocked as the Moon’s shadow passes over us. The darkness will cause the streetlights to come on and it will get noticeably cooler.
