District authorities favoured creating micro containment zones over complete lockdown to contain the surge of Covid-19 cases. NEW DELHI: India's Covid-19 tally stood at 1,12,44,786 with 15,388 fresh cases reported as of Tuesday morning, said the Union ministry of health.
