The Caroline Foundation has been awarded €800,000 for breast cancer treatment research. The award was funded by Science Foundation Ireland and Puma Biotechnology and will go towards advancing cancer research skills in DCU. SFI provided €400,000 of the funding and the rest was provided by Puma Biotechnology, a biopharma company that specialises in the acquisition and development of novel therapeutics for the treatment of cancer.
