FALLBROOK —  Investigators on Sunday arrested a 36-year-old man suspected of driving under the influence when he allegedly struck and killed a pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash last week, authorities said. The California Highway Patrol identified the suspect as Fallbrook resident Pascual Domingo Pascual Cristobal. The agency initially identified him as Pasqual. Investigators arrested him Sunday night on suspicion of three felony charges, including gross vehicular manslaughter, hit-and-run causing death and driving under the influence causing death.
