The St. Brigid’s clubman released a statement via Dublin GAA Twitter.
“After 12 years it’s time for me to finish up with the Dublin football team,” he explained.
“It’s been an amazing journey being part of such an incredible group of people over that period. ....

Paddy Andrews bows out with seven All-Ireland medals
Paddy Andrews has called time on his inter-county career with Dublin following a 12-year career with the reigning All-Ireland champions.
The St Brigids clubman bows out with an incredible haul of seven All-Ireland titles, enjoying a glittering career in the Dublin blue, which included 11 Leinster titles and five National League winner s medals.
His brother Peader also played football for the Metropolitans between 1999 and 2006.
After 12 years it s time for me to finish up with the Dublin football team, said Andrews.
