A large shed at a rural property which contained cylinders of a “volatile” chemical gas has been engulfed in flames and unable to be salvaged.

"We have thermal imaging to track the temperatures." Mr Dixon said the shed was "fully involved" on arrival and was lost. "The crews did a great job to get up the narrow driveway and get the fire under control and contained before it spread to bushland," he said. "At this stage we are still working out what was inside but we believe it's a manufacturing business. "It's full structure loss but it's not joining a house." Mr Dixon said the owner of the property was at home at the time. He said the fire would be investigated to determine the cause of the blaze.
