KOMPAS.com - Melonjaknya kasus Covid-19 menyebabkan sejumlah rumah sakit di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta penuh.
Akibat kondisi itu, seorang warga berinisial H (48), asal Kapanewon Patuk, Gunungkidul, akhirnya meninggal dunia karena tak segera mendapatkan perawatan medis.
Kapolsek Sewon Kompol Suyanto mengatakan, H dinyatakan positif Covid-19 dari hasil rapid test antigen.
Karena kondisinya dianggap terus memburuk, pada Kamis (8/7/2021) malam oleh keluarga lalu coba dilarikan ke rumah sakit agar segera mendapatkan perawatan medis.
Namun, upaya pihak keluarga untuk mencarikan rumah sakit itu ternyata tidak mudah.
Sejumlah rumah sakit seperti RS Kota Yogyakarta dan RSUD Wirosaban yang dikunjungi keluarga untuk merujuk korban saat itu mengaku kamarnya sudah penuh dan tak bisa melakukan perawatan.
