Charleston: Woman to pay $27,000 for 2022 Kanawha City arson | Legal Affairs

A Campbells Creek woman who pleaded guilty to a 2022 arson was ordered, on Feb. 20, 2024, to pay $27,000 in restitution for the demolition and lost income from the MacCorkle Avenue home she burned down. Patricia K. White, 50, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and second-degree arson last summer. Dennis Rutledge, 52, died in the fire White set at 5213 MacCorkle Avenue in January 2022.

Kanawha County woman pleads guilty to manslaughter, arson

A 50-year-old Campbells Creek woman pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and second-degree arson Monday for setting a 2022 fire that left one man dead.
