Editor's note: Piedmont Lithium has canceled its presentation , which was originally scheduled during the Gaston County commissioner work session on Tuesday night. Piedmont Lithium says it plans to reschedule the presentation for a later date. Leaders of a lithium mining project expect to soon seek state approval to dig an open-pit mine in western Gaston County.
