KNBN NewsCenter1 February 17, 2021   RAPID CITY, S.D. — Allegiant Airlines announced Wednesday that it will now offer the route from Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP) to Punta Gorda, Florida via Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) for the entire summer season. The route was originally planned to operate for two weeks in August, to coincide with the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. It proved so popular, the airline quickly expanded service.
