As part of her sentence two years ago, Hunter was ordered to pay $34,000 in costs – an amount her attorneys called excessive and unreasonable. Much of that money was for transcripts ordered by the special prosecutors who handled the case. Court records put the total cost of the transcripts at $22,415.
